crossEffect was the first company I matched with on the job matching site Rikunabi. Then I was inspired by President Takeda’s talk at a company explanatory meeting, which made me really want to work here.
While simultaneously working on route sales for existing customers, we also focus on breaking into new customer markets. We are gaining new customers through web inquiries and presentations and booths at expos. We don’t conduct any telephone or cold call sales activities.
Since I didn’t fully understand sales and service work for the first few years after joining the company, there were continual days where I failed. Then the president told me the story of the Turtle and the Hare. He encouraged me to keep trying until the end, without giving up, and that as a turtle I can do my job properly. I’m grateful to my boss and the president who continued to advise me without giving up on me.
I’m striving to become a leader in the sales group, working as the manager’s right hand. Since I’m not ready to be a leader yet, I am working to acquire skills by coordinating small meetings within the sales group.
The best part about the sales division is that it feels like home. I’m the youngest in the sales group, so I’m like the little sister in the office. The staff here has a desire to challenge themselves, and will do anything that is required of them. Team spirit is high, and we have an environment where we firmly stick together.
