I came to Japan for an internship before graduating from university, and crossEffect took care of me for six months. Before the internship ended, I told the company of my desire to work here, and joined the company.
I work on product design. We do CAD design and all work processes on-site. The things I design vary day by day, which makes for a fun job.
This is a prototype fire extinguisher called FINE. Cast from 3D data, it placed 10th from among around 550 products competing in the Dyson Awards. With crossEffect winning the Good Design Award for its Cardio Simulator, I hope I can also take part in helping achieve such an award.
We’re currently working with stereolithography technology, creating prototypes using plastics made from silicon mold that contain the same material as the actual piece. This is very challenging work, and there are not many companies in the world doing it. I want to alter the flow of manufacturing in the future.
The workplace is full of many young and positive employees, and rooted in an environment that encourages challenge oneself. And, if you join crossEffect, you can work in a fun new office. (The slide was based on my idea.)
