Our Transparent Stereolithography Service
Though there are several methods for prototyping with transparent plastic (such as cutting), using the material in stereolithography is the quickest way to achieve full visualization of the interior structure. Using TSR-829 plastic achieves a degree of transparency in the prototyping stage that is comparable to that of acrylic resin, while also ensuring a high degree of moisture resistance. Though this degree of transparency is sufficient for typical transparent prototypes, it is also possible to carry out additional polishing and acrylic coating by hand if you desire for an even greater degree of transparency. Our transparent plastic stereolithography service is also suitable for verifying the fit of the casing, and precisely analyzing flow path.

Processing time is significantly reduced compared to complex shape cutting. Shape confirmation is available as early as the following day after receiving 3D data.
Transparent plastics can be used in a wide range of fields, for various flow-path analysis, in home appliances and engine development prototypes, and as organ and skeletal models in the medical field.
Possible to produce single body molds of complex shapes that would not be possible through cutting, such as pieces with undercuts, and hollowed interiors. Moreover, sudden design changes are supported at incredibly low cost.

Highly Moisture Resistant Transparent Plastic
The plastic (TSR-829) used in our transparent plastic stereolithography service is known for being highly resistant to moisture. The shape will not change even when in contact with water for long periods of time, which makes it ideal for flow path analysis.
Water Resistance Verification
>A block (TSR-829) of hollowed pipe-shaped plastic is immersed within a space of 25 mm x 75 mm x 15 mm, then inspected for any changes.
